During the months of January and February 2018, I am teaching 4 classes each week at the Iyengar Yoga Center of Maine!
Iyengar yoga emphasizes precise alignment and develops inner awareness through physical posture (asana) and breath control (pranayama). The method is rooted in the ancient ashtanga (eight-limbed) philosophy of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, a set of aphorisms that frame a way of being in the world that is practical, experiential, devotional and personal.
